4 Infused Water Recipes for Holistic Hydration

 

Part 2 of our series on Holistic Hydration! Drinking more water is one of the single best things you can do for your health. WHICH SIDE OF THE FENCE ARE YOU ON?

For some, drinking water seems like the easiest task in the world, and they can down it 24/7. For others, it's a daunting, tasteless chore that they try to navigate around. It's always best to steer clear of unnatural "flavor shots" or strawberry mango infused water at Salubria pop-uppowders to add to the bottle. Most of these products contain artificially sweetened and flavored chemicals that are not good for you in any way.  Coconut waters and organic fruit juices are a great addition to your anti-thirst routine, but it's not feasible to drink them to replace your water intake. FOR THE LOVE OF INFUSED WATER 

Infused waters are a great solution to avid water-hater. They can consist of whatever fruit, vegetable, or herb you desire. Simply put whatever you want in and let it sit for an hour, up to overnight. After straining (or not, because I like to eat my fruit), you are left with a flavorful, hydrating, chemical, and calorie-free drink. Infused waters are also known as detox water, which is all the rage on social media. I go into why I don't call them "detox" in this free download on holistic hydration. Below, we've come up with 4 tried and true infused water recipes that are delicious and satisfying! Try them with regular water or make them a fancy mocktail with sparkling water. 

SALUBRIA LIFE INFUSED WATER RECIPES

 

 

CRANBERRY BREEZE

1liter purified water 

1 c dried cranberries 

2 limes, sliced

 

CUCUMBER REFRESH

1liter purified water

1 cucumber, sliced

2 lemons, sliced

 

CUCUA MELON

1liter purified water

2 c cantaloupe, diced

1 cucumber sliced

1 bunch mint

 

APPLE BERRY

1liter purified water

2 apples, sliced

3 cinnamon sticks

1/2 c raspberries
